Lymphatic Drainage Device Comprimed Gradient 6 - TOP ACTION !!!!
The gradient system
Apparative intermittent compression is an integral part of the clinical, ambulatory and homeostatic decongestive treatment and prevention of edema disorders. The effectiveness of this proven form of therapy has been proven many times and is impressively documented in numerous studies.
Gradient systems are today due to their gentle and fast-acting effect to the preferred therapy devices.
The 6-chamber system comprimed® GRADIENT focuses on the treatment of venous and mild lymphatic edema. The pressure-controlled compression structure, in conjunction with gradient treatment pressure, quickly leads to a noticeable effect.
The gradient treatment pressure realizes a physiologically efficient pressure gradient. Thus, the liquid mobilized from the higher pressure range (100%) can pass the low pressure range (80% and 60%) unhindered.
The concept of gradient intermittent compression is the result of extensive medical research and has been modeled on the manufacture of compression and thrombosis stockings.
The operating principle
The six air chambers of a treatment cuff are filled with air in a compression cycle, beginning distally. Chambers 1 and 2 at 100%, Chambers 3 and 4 at 80%, and Chambers 5 and 6 at 60% of the previously set treatment pressure. All chambers remain filled until the last one has reached the desired pressure.
Thereafter, the air escapes from all the chambers at the same time, and after a pause time, the inflation cycle starts again. Gradient treatment pressure realizes a gentle and gentle decongestion, which acts on the individual tissue layers and vessels. Tissue is depleted, venous reflux is promoted, metabolism and gas exchange are significantly improved.
Convincing treatment success with comprimed®
GRADIENT and the high level of acceptance among patients and practitioners characterize this therapy device.
The treatment cuffs
The modern and easy-to-use treatment cuffs are made of specially skin-friendly and easy-care special textile for legs and arms. They are subject to the DIN EN ISO standards and thus to stringent biological tests. The full zip facilitates donning and cleaning. An additional Velcro closure allows optimal adaptation in the area of the thigh.
The supportive home therapy... is necessary and cost-effective in some cases. For chronic conditions, the therapy can be continued at home after medical prescription and thus be supported considerably. The regulation of physical measures is reduced, and therapy-free periods can be bridged. The patient is optimally cared for, able to individually determine the beginning of the day of treatment and react spontaneously in the event of an acute complaint. The home therapy finds with increased need for therapy, chronic diseases, medication
incompatibility (e.g., diuretics) or intolerance to sustained compression.
In justified cases the health insurance covers the costs of the device. The attending physician monitors the therapy.Indications:
